ISPRO Epidemiologies are made up of a multidisciplinary team of doctors, biologists, health assistants, dieticians, and statisticians who share a passion for teamwork.

Through epidemiological studies and molecular analyses, we investigate how lifestyle, diet, environmental factors, and genetics influence health. We also use blood and DNA samples stored in our biobanks to gain deeper insight into the mechanisms underlying cancer development.

We collaborate with numerous research groups at both national and international levels to improve understanding of the causes of cancer and to help reduce its incidence in the population. The results of our research contribute to the development of effective primary prevention strategies and support the design of public health campaigns.
